The City's Transportation and Works Department has initiated a Class Environmental Assessment Study for Burnhamthorpe Road East. This study will recommend improvements to Burnhamthorpe Road East from Arista Way to Dixie Road, addressing all modes of transportation including vehicles, transit, pedestrians and cyclists. The first and second public information centres for this study took place on May 14, 2008 and October 1, 2008, respectively. The final public information centre was held on May 12, 2009.
