Description: Streetsville Junction on the Credit Valley Railway was opened on the west side of Mississauga Road north of Britannia Road in 1879. This 1910 view shows the Pacific Hotel in the left foreground. The picturesque station became a private residence (which is designated under the terms of the Ontario Heritage Act) after 1914 when the Canadian Pacific Railway built a new brick station further south on Ontario Street. Slide donated by Roger Riendeau, November 1985, copy of a photograph courtesy of the Streetsville Historical Society. Photo appears in Riendeauís book, Mississauga, an illustrated history, 1985.
