Description: Back view of the Proctor house. Richard Proctor (1792-1862) married Elizabeth Anne Thomas (1807-1905). He purchased 80 acres of land at the north end of Lot 29, Conc 2 from Alexander and Amelia Proudfoot and built this house. Proctor's daughter, Elizabeth, married Hugh Cavan and they eventually lived there and raised eight children.
