Description: 1798 Balsam Avenue. Plan G-13, Lot 65. The Heritage Property Database describes this as follows: A single storey wood frame structure with stucco exterior house with concrete sills 18' x 24' plus a 10' x 24' cinder block addition with a shed roof. The structure was once listed as a coal shed, possibly for a railway. The roof is constructed with a gable end, wood shiplap siding and asphalt shingles. The facade is north facing asymmetrical, window-door-window. The windows are double hung combination three over one and one over one. There is an external brick chimney. (The size and dimensions of this structure appear that this may be a log cabin with stucco.) Formerly listed on the Heritage Register the house was demolished in 2003. Description as of July 2011.
