What is/is not a complete application?
Answer

A complete application is a declaration from the applicant confirming that their building permit application for the proposed building, construction or demolition;

  • The application is made in the form described from the Municipality and by the Minister (MMAAH)
  • Will not contravene the Building Code Act, the Building Code or Any other applicable law,
  • A person who prepared drawings, plans, specifications or other documents or gave an opinion concerning the compliance of the proposed building, construction or demolition have the applicable qualifications set out in the  building code and insurance, if any, required by the building code,
  • The prepared drawings, plans, specifications or other documents must be certified by a qualified person base on the proposed scope work under the building application
  • Complete building permit fees.
