Art Shows and Exhibits
Displays and regular art exhibits can be found in most branches. Art gallery and display cases can be rented by the month. For booking information call the City of Mississauga, Customer Service Centre at 905-615-4100 and choose Facility Bookings.
The Library offers a wide variety of programs. Examples include:
For Children – Storytimes, reading clubs and Summer/March Break programs.
For Youth - Programs, teen advisory groups and volunteer opportunities.
For Newcomers – English conversation circles, settlement agency informational sessions and in-house settlement services.
For Adults including Older Adults - Speakers, demonstrations, book clubs and seminars about a variety of topics.

Flyer and Poster Distribution
Want to promote your workshop, show or display to the community? Need more members or volunteers for your community or non-profit group? The Library will distribute flyers and posters, for community and non-profit groups, to its locations. For commercial posting information, contact the Library’s Community Development Office at 905-615-3200 x3606.
Homebound service is provided to members who are unable to visit the Library due to illness or disability. For more information call 905-615-3500 x3544.
Need a room to hold a monthly meeting? The Library has meeting rooms and an auditorium for rent. For booking information contact the City of Mississauga, Customer Service Centre at 905-615-4100 and choose Facility Bookings.
Teachers and schools
If you are a teacher at an elementary or senior school in Mississauga, your local library offers class visits and outreach programs during the school year. Check the School Partner List for your school’s local Library. To arrange a visit, contact your nearest Library. If you wish to have Library Cards made for your students, remember to drop off their Registration Forms a week in advance.
