Description: 2340 Hurontario Street. Conc 1 SDS, pt. Lot 16. It was the task of Father Daniel Zanon to establish a new parish in Cooksville. Construction on the church commenced on Easter Sunday of 1956 and by March of 1960 the parish had grown so rapidly that a building and finance committee were formed to plan the financing and selection of builders and architects. Parishioners gave weekly pledges for two and half years to the building fund, along with bake sales and other fundraising drives. In the late summer of 1961 the church was finally complete. [From LPC #26, Places of Worship] Description as of June 2018.
