Description: During World War II, prisoners of war were interned at Cooksville Brick Company. At times, they were sent from the brickyard as farm labourers to locations in southern Ontario. Some of the men were working in Chatham when they posed for this photograph in 1944. Seated third from the right is Matthias Theodoro Randi. In 1968, Randi married Maria Angela Paneccasio. The couple settled in Cooksville.
