Cultural Access Pass


Are you a new Canadian Citizen? Get your free Cultural Access Pass today and visit local attractions and more – for free! Your pass gives you free access to over 1,000 attractions across Canada including galleries, museums, discovery centres, and natural parks.

You are eligible for a Cultural Access Pass (CAP) if you can answer YES to all three of the following questions: 

  • Are you a Canadian Citizen?
  • Did you receive your citizenship within the last 365 days?
  • Are you 18 years of age or older?


How to get your Cultural Access Pass

  • Register for a CAP online at https://www.icc-icc.ca/en/cap/register.php
     
  • Bring your registration confirmation (found on the registration confirmation page or the confirmation e-mail sent to you after you register)
     
  • Bring your citizenship certificate
     
  • Bring your photo ID (with your birth date on it)
     
  • Visit the Library Information Desk at:

  • Ask our staff to register you for the Cultural Access Pass. There is no need to call ahead or make an appointment we print it for you on the spot!
     
Pick-Up of Cultural Access Passes
Please arrive 15 minutes before the Library closes to allow enough time for printing the Cultural Access Passes (CAPs). If you require multiple CAPs, please allow 15 minutes per pass to be printed. Thank you.
