Environmental spills occur when equipment failure, human error or accidents on highways,
railways or waterways, results in the release of contaminants into the natural environment or
into the storm sewer system.
If a spill happens, ensure the safety of employees, implement your spill plan and report the
spill immediately - doing so can reduce your liability and the damage to your local
waterway.
