Description: 2500 Old Carriage Road, Erindale. In 1930, Lieutenant Governor W. D. Ross built a summer residence including a six-hole golf course on property which was owned by the Ross family in Erindale. The summer residence is now called "The Old Clubhouse". In 1936 the summer residence was no longer used and after a few changes to the original layout of the golf course, the property was leased from the Ross estate and operated as a pay-as-you-go golf course. In 1957 a new clubhouse was officially opened and the plans to became a private membership club were unanimously accepted.
