Description: 3509 Mississauga Road North. Range 3 NDS, pt. Lot 3. This is a one-and-a-half storey, red brick gabled structure built in vernacular Gothic style. James O'Neil purchased 40 acres in Lot 3 in 1867. According to the 1877 “Illustrated Historical Atlas of Peel County” the farm then belonged to James' son, John Moody O'Neil. This farmhouse was also known as the Grange Cottage. It is listed on the Heritage Register. This 1977 photo shows detail of the front gable with bargeboard, and dormer window.
