Carassauga Festival of Cultures

Carassauga Festival is an incorporated non-profit volunteer community organization that is now in its 27th consecutive year of operation. The Carassauga is a �Festival of Cultures� reflecting the rich ethnic mosaic of the Mississauga community. It is a 3-day, 22 hour event that takes place May 25, 26 and 27, 2012.� Carassauga has been included in the Top 100 Festival Events of Ontario for the past three years.

May 25, 2012 - May 27, 2012

Time: Starts Friday, May 25 at 7:30 p.m. - see passport

Location: Hershey Centre, community centres and private halls

Cost: $10 in advance and $12 at door

More info: In 2011 Carassauga hosted 26 Pavilions, representing 64 cultures, located in various cultural and recreation centres within the City of Mississauga.

During the Festival weekend guests visit multiple Pavilions and are surrounded by the sights, sounds, tastes and aroma of the country in which they are visiting.
