About Car-Share Service Pilot Project

The Transportation and Works Department was given approval by Council on March 28, 2012 to enter a two-year agreement with AutoShare Inc. and establish the City’s first Car-Share Service Pilot Project. The pilot project will determine the demand for car-share services in downtown Mississauga. Registered AutoShare members, 21 years or older, can book a vehicle, access it with a keycard, and later return it to the same parking space.
