Fun avec French
Specializing in helping French Immersion students improve their French language skills. Programs allow students to practice French with an element of fun. Go the website for details for fall, winter, spring, and summer programs.

My French Club

Offering a variety of educational programs and workshops for children with no prior knowledge of French, or enrolled in French Immersion or French as a Second Language. All programs are run in a fun and encouraging learning environment. Programs are located at Mississauga Central library and run during the school year.

Oasis Centre des Femmes
A non profit organization that delivers free and confidential services in the Peel-Halton area to Francophone women (16yrs of age and over). We are also members with the Peel Committee against women abuse and COPA (Ontario’s francophone provincial assault prevention education training organization) (Centre ontarien de prévention des agressions). All services are free, confidential and are offered in French. Some services offered are counseling, self-defense classes and education and awareness programs. The centre supports women that are survivors of violence (as well as immigrants, refugees and those in search of employment) to gain insights that allow for life changes, use their inner resources to deal with the issues and achieve personal growth.
The Centre is also part of the Provincial French Women’s Assault crisis support line (available 24hrs/7days/wk). Crisis Line: 1-877-FEMAIDE (336-2433). Counselors provide crisis intervention and advice, information, support and referral to community services.

Both the Brampton West-Mississauga (905-452-1973) and the Mississauga West (905-286-4455) centres offer French Immersion and Francophone family times/Les succursales Brampton Ouest-Mississauga (905-452-1973) et Mississauga Ouest (905-286-4455) offrent des heures de famille en français.
