Schedule Permit Inspections
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

When do I request an Inspection ?
Answer
Permit holders are required by the Ontario Building Code to notify the Building Division inspection groups at certain stages of construction so that inspections can be arranged. It is expected that the person in charge of the construction has verified the readiness for inspection prior to arranging the inspection. For the purposes of inspection, the building permit documents stamped and signed by the Building Division at time of issuance must be kept on site at all times.
