Description: 800 Lakefront Promenade. Conc 3 SDS, pt. Lots 9 & 10 43R298 pts. 3-13. Lakefront Promenade Park is located at 800 Lakefront Promenade off of Lakeshore Road, east of Cawthra Road. It is a joint project of the City of Mississauga and the Credit Valley Conservation Authority, named after two of its most prominent features, a location at the water's edge and leisure walkways. It is one of the largest waterfront developments in Ontario with more than 40 hectares (104 acres) of public parkland dedicated to outdoor recreation and the protection of wildlife habitat. Park amenities include a protected harbour with two marina facilities, outdoor licensed eatery, a playground area that features a water splash pad, boardwalks, picnic shelters, cycling paths, and concession facilities. The park offers an extensive boardwalk and walking trails, a children's play area, a beach area and comfort stations, as well as a marina that offers berths for 170 boats and year round fishing spots. It is part of the Waterfront Trail. Description as of March 2016.
