Description: 280 Queen Street South. Conc 4 WHS, pt. Lot 3 W1/2. Originally built in the 1860s, this two storey gable end frame structure of board and batten was originally used by the Cunningham family for their tinsmithing business. In 1902 the Streetsville Library Board acquired the building and it served as the public library until 1967 when the new Centennial library was opened. The building became the municipally owned Streetsville Village Hall, and is designated under the terms of the Ontario Heritage Act. The front of the building was altered in 1928. The adjacent bowling green was established in 1907. In 1996 the section of the building housing the Lawn Bowling Club was demolished and the building itself underwent major renovations to both interior and exterior in 2009-2010 in order to accommodate an office for the Streetsville B.I.A. Description as of March 2013.
