What if two-thirds (66%) "in-favour" through the petition process is not achieved?
Answer
A minimum of two-thirds of the homeowners must vote in favour of the program for an existing barrier to be replaced or a new barrier installed under the retrofit program. Under the authority of the Municipal Act, if the two-thirds percentage is not achieved, the program cannot be implemented.
