Natural Areas Survey (NAS)
The Natural Areas Survey map identifies the location of Mississauga's 140 natural areas. Accompanying the map are fact sheets featuring detailed information about each site, as well as a map outlining the natural area boundary. The land uses designated on the City Plan District Land Use Map for each of the 32 Planning Districts are to be read in conjunction with all the policies and other Schedules of City Plan and the Special Site Policies for each Planning District.

For the various zoning designations, the Zoning By-law 5500 text should be read in conjunction with all site specific or general provisions. The Planning and Building Department, Building Division should be consulted with regards to all inquiries and interpretation of the Zoning By-laws.
