Types of Park Facilities that require a Permit
The following types of park facilities require a permit if you wish to have exclusive use.
Sport Field:
Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Cricket, Football. For more information on reserving a sports field

Picnic Parks:
A park permit allows for reserved use of a specific park area and any amenities associated with
that space. Permits are only issued to City of Mississauga residents or businesses. Picnic Park

Special Occasion Photography Parks:
Mississauga has many beautiful locations to take group photography. Several locations can be
reserved for photography or wedding ceremonies. All group photography must reserve and
pay a fee to obtain a park permit. Photo Area Park
Locations
Reservations can be made 10 months in advance on a first come first served basis. A permit
will reserve a 90 minute block of time, which includes arrival, photographs and departure from
the park. Parking may be limited at some locations.
Outdoor Events and Festivals:
Groups with an expected attendance over 500 or individuals wishing to serve alcohol require
regulatory approvals. These groups will be required to reserve their space and pay an
administration fee along with charges for additional services. For more information regarding

Reservations can be made 10 months in advance on a first come first served basis. A permit will
reserve the park for the date requested. Use of the park must comply with Parks By-Law # 186-05.
