Maintenance & Inspections

There are approximately one million trees located on public land and 250,000 of those are located on City boulevards.

If the City-owned tree adjacent to your home has been inspected and maintenance work is required, an inspection notice outlining works required will be left at your home.

Tree Maintenance

Boulevard Maintenance
Forestry maintains the grass on City property next to main roads. Boulevards that front private properties, both residential and commercial are the responsibility of the property owner. Maintenance work includes grass cutting, turf maintenance (seeding, fertilizing, aeration, sodding) and leaf pick up.
