Description: This park may have been located near Captain Court, Rattray Estates, just west of Rattray Marsh. In 1971 the firm of Crysler & Lathem, consulting engineers, was retained by the Credit Valley Conservation Authority to prepare a plan for the development of the Mississauga waterfront sector of the Metropolitan Toronto Planning Area. In their report Crysler & Lathem described Captain's Place Park as a "narrow but most interesting beach -- at least as far as two properties where a structure covers the beach and juts into the water a short distance. This is a former lookout and water pumping station from the old Rattray Estate -- Public access across this obstruction is absolutely denied."
