There are many terms to describe a pool. How do you describe the different types?
A "hot tub" is a tub, spa or whirlpool that holds water exceeding 61cm (24 inches) in depth at any point.
An "inflatable pool" is a temporary pool.
An "in-ground pool" is a permanent pool installed in the ground.
An "above-ground pool" is a permanent pool completely above the grade.
An "on-ground pool" is a permanent pool installed on a slope, some of the pool is in the ground and some is out of the ground.
