Description: Lot 4, Conc 2 SDS. Corner of Park and Helene Streets. Built by Charlie Hare, great-grandfather of Harold Hare, about 1850. 1852 is the year of the land patent, and Charlie Hare, who had been raised in Springfield (Erindale) lived in the house before he got the patent. The main section of the house was built about 1883. Charlie Hare was the father of Albert, Walter, William, George and Fred. The house was demolished March 11, 1967.
