Description: 49 and 53 Hurontario Street. This 1989 photo shows both houses, no. 49 and its neighbour, no. 53 Hurontario Street, which were mirror images of each other. Both were two storey frame buildings with gable roof and shuttered windows. They were probably located just north of the St. Lawrence Starch Company workers' cottages at 37-39 and 41-43 Hurontario Street, were owned by St. Lawrence Starch and rented out to their employees. Some time between 1990 and 1993 both 49 and 53 Hurontario Street were demolished. It is not certain whether they were on the Heritage Register.
