Description: 1520 Pinetree Crescent. Plan 559, BLK A. This house is constructed of Credit Valley stone in a manner common to the 1920 period of estate summer homes. The formal entrance is on the south facade, now opposite to the driveway on the north elevation. There is a screened porch on the west side overlooking the river. The roof is hipped with gables, dormers, half timbering and stucco in the gable ends and featured around some of the windows. On the north elevation are three long and narrow panels of stained glass which light the interior staircase. On the east elevation facing the road is a stone arched portico that creates a walkout area from the basement level. The window arrangements vary, some being ten over one and others four over one. Charles Angus commissioned Arnold McMaster to design the house. The house is listed on the Heritage Register. Description as of January 2011.
