Description: 201 Mineola Road West. Plan D-21, pt. Lot 10, PL 319-pt. 6. This full two storey structure is of Cottage style with Prairie influences. Building materials consist of field stone above coursed rubble stone on the first floor, stucco on the second floor. There is a hipped roof with asphalt shingles and a four bay south facade. The windows are double hung six over one on the second storey. Noted additions and features include a stone foundation, large covered porch over the front entrance in a large arch shape supported by stone columns. At the rear of the house the grade changes which allows for the garage to be entered adjacent to the cellar. A very tall chimney rises far above the roofline. This structure was quoted as being the "...house of gentlemen who designed homes in this area." Likely built by Milton Skinner. Listed on the Heritage Register. Description as of April 2019.
