Description: Toronto Township Hockey League players would visit Maple Leaf Gardens on a Saturday and meet members of the NHL. Bob Pulford, at left, was born in Newton Robinson, Ontario. He spent his early hockey career in the Leaf organization, playing for the Weston Dukes and the Marlboros. He played with the Leafs from the 1956-57 season till 1970 when he was traded to the Los Angeles Kings. Carl Brewer, at right, played junior hockey with the Toronto Marlboros. He joined the Leafs in 1959-60 and played with them till 1965. He played on two national teams, 1966-67, and played in Finland 1968-69. He was traded to the Detroit Red Wings in 1969-70. Brewer was an active member of the Players' Association and played a part in Alan Eagleson's conviction on fraud charges. Original photo at Museums of Mississauga. Description as of June 2013.
