Description: 46 Queen Street South. Plan STR, 4, pt. Lot 12. Historically, the property was included on the City's Heritage Register for its historical value because of the two structures that once stood here. One, located at 46 Queen Street South, was a residential building. This building was a one-and-one-half-storey structure, which was clad in white aluminum siding, that featured a gable roof with asphalt shingles and a centre east gable. There was an asymmetrical two bay east facade that was not original, while the windows were double hung sash one over one with modern plate and fixed pane with nine and twelve lights. There was an east enclosed porch and a one storey west addition. Mary Manning noted that there used to be gingerbread around the eaves. The second building, located at 44 Queen Street South, was an industrial/business building that had apparently been on the property for some time. A heritage permit, to permit demoltion of the two buildings, was issued on 30 April 2013. Description as of August 2018.
