The Cycling Master Plan was developed with the input of over
1,000 Mississauga citizens and stakeholders and led by a team of active transportation planning
specialists, iTRANS Consulting Inc and Victor Ford & Associates Inc. Area municipalities,
approval agencies and transit authorities were consulted in the development of this plan.
The Mississauga Cycling Master Plan gives focus to the ongoing effort to incorporate cycling
into our City's way of life.

Presentation and discussion of the draft Cycling Master
Plan. The master plan provides direction on creating an integrated cycling network of on
and off-road routes to connect communities and destinations throughout the City. The plan
focuses on the development and design of cycling routes, cycling amenities such as parking,
education and safety. Established as a long-term strategy, it will be reviewed every five
years.
