This article is for Internet Explorer 7 users only.

Problem Description:
Some Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) users, attempting to make a payment via www.mississauga.ca are unable to view the drop down values within the Credit Card Type and the Expiration Date fields. In IE7, when these drop down fields are selected by a mouse click, the fields do not expand to display its values. For example, the Credit Card Type field contains the following values: Visa, Master, and Amex. The IE7 user, in the payment process, cannot use the mouse to select the type of the card used for the transaction.

Cause of the Problem:
The problem is linked to a security update issued by Microsoft on October 11, 2011.

Solution:
The solutions listed below, assumes that the user does not want to upgrade to a more recent browser.

1. Download a fix from Microsoft�s website using this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2628724

2. On the payment page, use a mouse device to click on the Credit Card Type and the Expiration Date fields. To choose the appropriate value within the Credit Card Type and the Expiration Date fields, use the keyboard Down and Up arrow keys.
