2017 Budget Committee Update

Today at Budget Committee the following programs and service areas presented their 2017 Business Plan and Budget.

  • Asset Management Programs
  • Stormwater Program – the proposed total 2017 operating spend is $12 million
  • MiWay – the proposed total 2017 operating spend is $73.3 million
  • Roads – the proposed total 2017 operating spend is $67 million
  • Fire and Emergency Services – the proposed total 2017 operating spend is $105.2 million
  • Parks and Forestry – the proposed total 2017 operating spend is $32.2 million
  • Mississauga Library – the proposed total 2017 operating spend is $26.8 million

The City of Mississauga Budget Committee will continue deliberations on November 30 and December 7 and 12. Council is scheduled to approve the proposed 2017 Business Plan and Budget on December 14.

Please note: There will be no Budget Committee meeting on December 6.
