There are application guidelines for each of the four grant programs:

Culture Projects Grant Program

Each year, the Culture Projects Grant program is themed to align with subject matter that is current and community-based. This year’s project grant theme is Unifying Arts for Social Justice. Project grant applications will be considered for projects that focus on anti-racism/anti-hate efforts and community building within Mississauga.

The goal of this year’s theme for the Culture project grant is to provide funding that will engage the arts community and create works to increase awareness, promote education and take action to affect positive change. The City is encouraging arts and culture organizations and collectives to animate different areas of the city and provide safe environments for people to experience art. Examples of this can include intimate events, temporary public art, exhibitions, performances and/or other activations.
