Holiday Magic Set to Light Up Mississauga Celebration Square

Entertainment and activities | November 16, 2015

No time to travel to the North Pole this year? No problem. Mississauga Celebration Square will transform into a winter wonderland on Saturday, November 21 during Light Up the Square 2015.

This family-friendly event features the lighting up of the Square and Christmas Tree during an official ceremony with Mayor Crombie and Members of Council. There will also be a ‘Let it Go’ sing-along, ferris wheel rides and photos with Santa. If the ice stays frozen during this warm November week, the rink will open for the first time this season with a DJ skate party featuring live spin by DJ Token. Come hungry and enjoy curbside cuisine from one of 10 food trucks. The event is hosted by Carlos Bustamante, from YTV’s The Zone and includes a performance by Canadian pop sensation, Andee.
