Light Up the Square Returns to Mississauga!

This holiday season, Mississauga Celebration Square will be transformed into a multi-week festival of lights filling the Square and the main stage with spectacular, interactive, light-based artworks, including Prismatica.

The season will kick off on November 20 with an official ceremony hosted by Mayor Bonnie Crombie and Members of Council, featuring artists and special guests from the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra live from the Living Arts Centre. Members of the public are welcome to come on down to watch the lighting of the Square and the Christmas tree.

In addition to the lighting, attendees will be treated to a live, on-screen performance of the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra’s season opener concert, A Triumphant Celebration, streamed live from the Living Arts Centre.

Members of the public will have the opportunity to attend Light Up the Square in person or watch the live stream online. Because this is an outdoor ceremony, vaccine certificates are not required.
