Mississauga Council backs FCM funding call for local infrastructure projects and a long-term housing

Today, Mississauga Council endorsed the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) call for the federal and provincial governments to guarantee a majority of the Building Canada Fund be directed to local municipal projects. For Mississauga, the top infrastructure priority is transportation.

Council also endorsed the FCM call for the Government of Canada to develop a long-term housing plan for the 2015 federal budget.
