Mississauga Proudly Celebrates Pride Month

Entertainment and activities | June 1, 2021

Today, Mississauga kicks off a month of activities and virtual events to celebrate Pride Month in Peel.

“Equity, diversity and inclusion are core priorities for our City. Pride Month gives us an opportunity to celebrate the diversity that makes Mississauga such a great place to live, work and play, and also demonstrates our strong support for our 2SLGBTQ+ community,” said Mayor Bonnie Crombie. “I value the work of everyone who contributes to the diverse makeup of our vibrant and welcoming city. We are thrilled to host an array of Pride activities throughout the month of June that residents can safely enjoy. I am also honoured to be hosting a virtual Pride event on June 15 to celebrate Mississauga’s 2SLGBTQ+ community.”
