MiWay is hosting five public information sessions in October for residents and MiWay customers to learn about year two of the Five Year Service Plan. The year two service plan focuses on service improvements in Central and West Mississauga as well as realigning services to connect to the four remaining Mississauga Transitway stations when they open in 2017.
“We always want to hear from our customers so that we can improve customer experience,” said Geoff Marinoff, Director, Transit. “These information sessions allow us to update the public and engage with them to ensure that we are continuously improving, which is the goal of the Five Year Service Plan.”

MiWay Five is a five-year service plan (2016-2020) that is moving Mississauga’s transit system from a design that radiates from the city centre to a grid network that will allow for more frequent buses along main corridors. The plan allows for more transit service expansion as MiWay prepares for the completion of the Mississauga Transitway in 2017. Eight stations and 12 kilometres of the 18 kilometre Transitway are now complete.
