Saddle up for a season of Community Rides

This Saturday kicks-off the first of 15 bicycle rides throughout the City. The Community Rides are a series of casual cycling tours in all corners of Mississauga from May until October. Visit mississaugacycling.ca for updates, routes and rain dates.

What:
The Community Rides are an opportunity for residents to explore Mississauga on their bikes. On Saturday’s ride, get up close and personal to Toronto Pearson Airport. A photo opportunity will take place during the mid-ride stop for refreshments and activities at the Toronto Pearson Airport administrative building located at 3111 Convair Drive.

Who:
Led by volunteers of the Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee for local residents

When:
Saturday, May 24, 2014
The ride starts at 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Photo Opportunity starts at 11:00 a.m. located at 3111 Convair Drive

Where:
Garnetwood Park (1950 Burnhamthorpe Road East)
Two bike routes are available –  off-road trail and on-road route
Round trip: 18 kilometres

The 2014 Community Rides series is sponsored by Toronto Pearson Airport.
