Soar into Spring with the Mississauga Central Library’s Kite Festival

During March Break celebrate the Spring Festival of Kites at the Mississauga Central Library in partnership with Kids’ CBC. This free, family-friendly event features a full line-up of exciting activities for kids between the ages of two and six years old.

What:
Spring Festival of Kites

Activities include:

  • Designing kites
  • Creating Rangoli designs (folk art created on the floor using materials such as coloured rice, dry flour, coloured sand or flower petals)
  • Making Bambaram (spin tops)
  • Listening to South Asian stories
  • Playing games
  • Meeting Kids’ CBC characters including host Patty, Daniel Tiger, Bookaboo and Super WHY!

When:
Saturday, March 21, 2015
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
