Some of the most dynamic Indigenous voices in Canada take the saugaLIVE Stage for an evening of powerful music and storytelling. From traditional hand drumming to genre-blending throat singing, this lineup will move you – mind, body and spirit. Returning favourites and new voices come together for a night you won’t want to miss, hosted by Indigenous youth advocate and content creator Kairyn Potts.
The City of Mississauga’s public art program will unveil its new mural at the Celebration Square amphitheatre. Come Together celebrates generations of Indigenous leadership and contributions from diverse peoples and species who have made Mississauga the thriving hub it is today.
Que Rock (Nipissing First Nation), Alex Bacon and PERU143 based their design on a portion of one of the Anishinaabe creation stories. The mural is a visual dialogue between the land’s past, its present and future, and calls on all of us to realize that our fates are interconnected.
