Tiny Home Tours

Come tour a Tiny Home at Celebration Square, presented by Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga-Dufferin.

Tiny home exterior and interior.

Calling all home design show fans! Here’s your chance to tour a Tiny Home in real life at Mississauga’s downtown Celebration Square. Habitat for Humanity is offering tours of their studio-sized unit built by area high school students.

Habitat’s Tiny Home is a 225 sq. ft. self-contained unit that homeowners can purchase and install in their backyard for extra living space. It includes a kitchen, living area, sleeping space and washroom. Tiny Homes are a good option for homeowners looking for an accessible way to age in place, families who need extra space or anyone looking to add a rental unit for extra income.

Tiny Homes – also known as garden suites – are allowed in Mississauga but City approvals and permits are needed before you can move forward. After your tour, talk to Habitat staff to get more information about how these homes are built and if a Tiny Home is right for your backyard.
