To provide you with a savings, starting April 1 MiWay will be reducing the price of the Adult monthly pass.
Starting May 1, seniors can use their PRESTO card to pay a $1 fare during off-peak times.
Other fare prices remain unchanged.
You can find a summary of the changes below.
Adult Monthly Pass – reduced price
- The PRESTO Adult Monthly Pass will be reduced from $135 to $131.
- The April monthly pass will be available for purchase at the new rate on March 18.
Senior $1 fare on PRESTO – available May 1, 2022
- Beginning May 1, seniors only need their PRESTO card to pay on MiWay.
- The Senior $1 fare continues to be valid on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and from 7 p.m. to 5:59 a.m.; it’s also valid all day on weekends and holidays.
- At all other times the senior’s PRESTO fare remains at $2.10 or you can purchase a Senior Monthly Pass on PRESTO for $65.
