Face coverings required
It is mandatory to wear a mask or face covering on our buses and inside terminal buildings under the City’s Face Covering By-Law.
Children under the age of two and people with disabilities or other medical conditions that prevent them from wearing any mask will not be required to wear one.
Smoking or vaping is not permitted on MiWay buses, at bus stops or at bus terminals.
Alcohol and hazardous substances
Toxic, flammable or hazardous substances are not permitted on MiWay buses, at bus stops or at bus terminals. Consuming alcohol or illegal drugs is not permitted on MiWay buses, at bus stops or at bus terminals.
Pets and service animals
Pets such as cats and dogs are allowed on MiWay, but they must be leashed or kept in an animal cage. Exotic animals are not allowed.
Service animals are allowed in stations and on buses. You are responsible for the behaviour of your service animal.
Clothing and sports gear
Shirts and shoes must be worn on board all buses. You are not allowed to wear in-line skates, roller skates, ice skates or use a skateboard on a bus, in a bus shelter or at bus terminals.
