Currently, the only payment method is a valid credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or AMEX). We are looking to provide alternative payment methods in the future, but at this time having an ‘on account’ type payment method where we provide you a monthly bill would not be cost effective for the City and would probably result in an increase in fees to cover the cost. The other problem is that permits issued under the Ontario Building Code regulation can be revoked if incomplete of fees. By making payment via a valid credit card, we avoid this problem.
Personal information on these forms is collected under the authority of the Building Code Act, 1992, S.O. 1992, Chapter 23 and the City of Mississauga Building By-law and will be used to process your application for building permit.
