Report a Neglected Property or Building

Use this service to report:

  • Exterior condition of a building (Exterior area includes parking surfaces, garages and other structures on the lot). Interior of a building is not included.
  • Lack of upkeep to the exterior a property, e.g. accumulation of junk, standing water, tall grass and weeds over 20 cm high.

To submit a request you need to:


1. Provide a valid Mississauga street address

You need to provide the street address for this service request. If the address cannot be found in our system you may need to call 3-1-1 to make your request.

2. Provide your contact information and email

Your email address will be used to send you a confirmation, and to help you receive status updates on your request.

The Property Standards By-law 654-98 outlines the requirements for the exterior condition of a building or structure on a lot is to be maintained as well as the requirements for the maintenance of a private property and vacant land. For more information, please call 3-1-1.

I am not reporting the condition of the interior of a building.

I am not a tenant at the property.
