About

As part of the Lakeshore Transportation Studies, the City is developing the preliminary design and completing the Schedule C Class Environmental Assessment (EA) for Lakeshore Road and Royal Windsor Drive. This study will consider a ‘Complete Street’ approach to improve the experience for people travelling along the Lakeshore corridor from East Avenue to the Oakville border.

The EA Notice of Commencement for this project is provided below, and the study is anticipated to be completed in 2022.

The second round of public engagement for the projects that make up the Lakeshore Transportation Studies is underway now through April 8, 2022. Visit the virtual open house to review the latest information about the Lakeshore Complete Street project, including the evaluation of alternative transit solutions and the preferred alternative for the project.
