To consider changes to the Downtown Community Improvement Plan (CIP), which will expire on July 4, 2022. The CIP is intended to assist in attracting new office development to the Downtown Core through the use of incentives for the purposes of creating jobs, balancing growth and supporting planned infrastructure investments.
The purpose of the amendment is to extend the CIP to April 22, 2026 to align with the Region’s Major Office Incentives (MOI) program.
