YOGA at Lakeview Library
Yoga does more than burn calories and tone muscles; it’s a total mind-body workout. Each class uses a variety of muscle stretching and strengthening movements combined with breathing and relaxation techniques to reduce muscle tension and stress. Beginners welcome!

Join the crime prevention experts from Peel Regional Police as they present an informative seminar teaching senior citizens how to keep themselves and their property safe.  Some topics that will be covered include personal and property protection, distraction theft recognition, cyber safety, fraud and more. Celebrate Earth Day by designing and building a terrarium to explore concepts of the water cycle, plant growth and ecosystems.

Paws-4-Stories
This program is in collaboration with St. John Ambulance Mississauga.  Children have the opportunity to read to a Therapy Dog for 20 minutes. A fun environment for beginning and struggling readers to get more comfortable with literacy.
